The trainer of this horse knows a thing or two about getting his horse racing off decent handicap marks and the horse has been dropped 3lb after he raced the horse over too far and on unsuitable ground for his debut run for the stable on his last start. This ex Simon Crisford horse has several form lines which would suggest he could be 5lb+ ahead of this current mark, and the horse should be well drawn here. The cheekpieces go back on too and I can see this one outrunning his odds.

Results this week would suggest a mid to high draw should be an advantage over this c&d and this one is drawn 16 of 20 with the very interesting jockey booking of William Buick who the stable don't use often, but he's won 2 of his last 4 rides for them. This unexposed horse also has a first time tongue tie to squeeze out further improvement and the fact that he was well backed before brushing aside an 84 rated horse on his penultimate start bodes well that he can go close here off 87 in his first handicap.
