Getafe are a good side,as their last 3 results show,managing away draws against Villarreal and Barcelona and beating Real Madrid 3-1 at home.They are the only side to really contain Barcelona and get anything from them in recent weeks.Mallorca are struggling at the lower ends of the table again having sold most of their better players in the summer.They have lost their last 2,lost to the league punchbag that is Recreativo and look destined to be in the relegation battle for the remainder of the season.This could be the year they go back down.

Todays game is simply a match-up of a very strong home side and a poor away side.Genoa remain unbeaten at home with 6 wins and 1 draw from their 7 games,and have beaten some of the stronger sides already.They posess the leagues top goalscorer in Diego Milito who has so far bagged himself 12 goals in his debut season.Atalanta on the other hand have lost 5 of 7 away games and it could be 6 from 8 after today.

Under pressure Blackburn manager meets a familar face today in Steve Bruce but they are unlikely to be doing each other any favours.The amount of speaking out being done by Ince in recent weeks shows he knows full well he is under the osh and it is getting to him,it wont have been helped by the fact that his chairman this week pointed out that to stay up they probably need the points equivalent of 9 wins from the next 22 league games,hardly morale boosting for a side that has not won in 10 league games and lost their last 5,6 could mean Ince being shoved out the door he has only just walked through.Wigan are now well established in this league and go about their business of accumulating points almost unoticed.The likes of Valencia,Heskey and Zaki will relish playing against this Blackburn defence and goalkeeper who are leeking goals and must be totally bereft of confidence.Steve Bruce to put another nail in the coffin of Paul Inces Blackburn career.

The curse of the manager of the month award hovers over Gary Megson and Bolton at Villa Park today.If this was not enough to worry them,the names Young and Agbonlahor certainly will.Bolton had a great month which deservedly saw their much maligned gaffer rewarded with the gong,but today they face a side far superior in quality.Villa are not a side to be bullied around either and are more then willing to fight Bolton tooth and nail in order to earn the right to play their football.They come off the back of a great 3-2 victory at Goodison Park and are probably overpriced today to do similar.

Mabagerless Sunderland could not have wished for a better fixture today.No doubt the departure of the charismatic Roy Keane left a somehwhat gaping hole at the club.There can be little doubt that the squad posess quality however,and if ever there was a morale boosting defeat,it was Sunderlands at Old Trafford last week,only going down 1-0 to a relatively lucky last minute Vidic tap-in.West Broms struggles in front of goal were blatantly obvious since the first game f the season,the loss of the ne spark they had in Ishmael Miller will only further throw this glaring lack of quality under the spotlight.Very likely Sunderland will only need 1 goal to take the 3 points today,and they should do to make it a much less daunting task for whoever the incoming manager may be.

AC Milan had a faltering start to this campaign and pressure was building on Carlo Ancelotti.However they have now got motoring and are consistently grinding out results and keeping clean sheets.Torino not the easiest of places to travel to but on current form a Milan win seems likely.

Spurs will be looking to get back on track after a blip against Fulham last week.Redknapp has got all 3 strikers scoring and has got players like Bentley and Modric flowing.Blackburn are a patchy side.paul Robinson had a good game last time out but whether he will relish going back to the lane is another question.Spurs should have too much in their locker today.

Darren Ferguson is not constantly linked with much bigger clubs for no reason.The fact that his father is arguably the most successful club manager in the games history im sure is a contributary factor.But he has done a wonderful job on his own merits at Peterborough.He assembled a squad that steamrolled its way through League 2 and is now more than holding its own in League 1.The strikforce of Boyd,Mackail Smith and McLean is a terrifying prospect for any side at this level.Colchester have found their level having enjoyed their short stay in the Championship.Pboros firepower,combined with the fact they have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 6 outings gives Colchester very little hope today.

Mick McCarthy has got his squad absolutely flying.They are a young,energetic,pacy and vibrant team and are a joy to watch.Today is somewhat of a beauty vs the beast as Blackpool are a work-horse of a side,who in their own right are more than capable of causing teams problems,i just dont see it happening today.
