Hi Guys,

Let me get this right,

Quote:
To make clear we are playing this for fun and not for money I have casted the term "geckoins" to refer to the bank units , from the ancient english words "coins" selfevident and "gecko" meaning "great tipster". Hope you do not mind.
Market exploration shows that 1 geckoin is valued 100 tipstongs and also obviously 1 geckoin equals 1/10th of an Anthony (also called O£BG)

In this market 100 Tipstongs = 1 Geckoin
And 10,00 Tipstongs= 1 Antony?

Have I got that right.

Hi Guys,

After last year's fiasco. Wouldn't this personal comp be better played at LSP of £100 a week?

Just a thought.

hi TAD

I think tips was on the grog that night Very Happy

re this yr > the idea is that we can all do our own thing this season... ie see who has success with sensible staking and bet selection... hopefully there will be some good research and advice which will benefit all

I'll try and keep a summary on LSP but be good if people had the ability to bet more if they really fancied a bet; this is where it perhaps fell down last yr (I think you infer) as unknown votes were cast for £1k most weeks which skewed the staking plan

we may see some tipsters with sensible staking and great success which is the ideal scenario

Pleased to see someone has taken this on - and to Gecko and Tipstonga you are both barking mad but I love it Laughing

As we all think we can beat the bookies it will be interesting to see how we do.

Good Luck to All.

Yes, nice to see this challenge alive in its new form again. Cheers guys.

Yep £100 a week added & Prem only sounds great to me.

Would it be over-complicating things if we still made 4 communal weekly threads - 1X2, Overs/Unders, AH & Others. The most enjoyable bit last year for me was to read everyones views which helped me choose my 4 or 5 Prem bets for the weekend.

Also that way if i do have a week where time disappeared i can literally just stick my actual bet only in my thread by 3pm Sat.

Gecko,

Tipstonga seems like one of them blokes you really would be down the pub with "on the grog". He is a great bloke.

Am i right that any big bookie odds can be used, i.e. we should check/re-check our odds, Valuechecker (here) or Oddschecker, at the time we stick our bet up and best BOOKIE odds on those sites are fine?
