Again, quality stuff on OLBG keep poking all the boys over here (NOT like that ) to get on here..... liking the new format..but..miss the week of reasoning for and against each match and each bet (even if the voting was a bit wonky)..would be nice to have something like that around again.
Guess i'll be trundling through everyones threads (looks for lazy emoticon)
Otherwise loving it loving it loving it _________________ 5/1 on....if you have the 5 you dont need the 1 |

For all those sad (& probable stocks & shares owning) overly-moralistic types who would frown upon us writing up things like £100 bet on this, £200 bet on that etc etc, even tho its not real money, i've stumbled upon a possible currency for this seasons comp - Zimbabwean Dollars! _________________ Steve |

* quite a few people won on villa so well done to all of you - and all the others winning... long time to go for the rest of us
* what was good to see was some decent bets spotted - not much value in the big 3 so meant we had to search about a bit - hard wk to call any results so impressive that 12 managed to get off to a flyer
I would hazard a guess that villa would have been the call if there had been a vote but who knows - hope you all stick with your own threads
good luck to all

I thought the minimum bet for this was £100, ie. same as last year?
Not complaining or anything - just wondering if there is any minimum this season. _________________ 35 TO FOLLOW

Deco,
Having re-read the rules I don't think there is a minimum bet, but there is a max bet of £1k a week. There is a minimum number of weeks you can be "on holiday" for though, Three.
I hope there are not too many school teachers playing.

Forgot about last years minimum bet being £100. Surely anything over £25 should suffice this season. My instinct last week was just don't put all your bank on a Week1 match!
Hopefully in the spirit of things everyone to bet this week, cos it's blimmin hard betting in August with the fixture lists we've had!!!
Also quite interesting to see if the early birds get teh better odds, e.g. last week those who got on Vila before Weds had odds of Evens or above, but come mtchday when i got round to thinking about putting real money on it the odds had shrunk to 1.60ish so i didn't play.
All the best for Week 2 folks! _________________ Steve |

My first time in this comp guys,so just thought id better ask for clarification
My week 2 bet(Newcastle) i have taken price that was on offer on Betfair at the time(it was better than any "bookies")
Is this ok? _________________ luck determines the cards, skill determines the chips |
